Sioux City Public School holidays are observed by Morningside Lutheran Preschool. Teacher workdays are not observed by Morningside Lutheran Preschool.

Weather Cancellations

Morningside Lutheran Preschool follows the Sioux City Public School schedule for weather. If there is a late start due to winter weather, there is no morning session. If there is an early dismissal due to winter weather, there is no afternoon session. Classes may also need to be cancelled for other unforeseen circumstances. The Director or Oversight Committee will determine if cancellation is necessary and parents will be notified as soon as possible. Any sessions missed due to winter weather or unforeseen circumstances will not be made up or prorated.
