Wednesday Inspirational Group for Seniors (WIGS)
WIGS meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from September through May
at Morningside Lutheran. It is a social, fraternal, spiritual and
educational gathering open to senior citizens of any faith or
denomination. A
healthy lunch is served at noon for the low cost of $6.00. A program
follows, which usually lasts a half hour from 1:00-1:30 pm.
Elderversity
The
purpose of Elderversity is to provide a diversity of opportunities for
the senior community in order to fulfill our mission to bring all people
into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our goals are to:

Be an established ministry at Morningside Lutheran in which all adults
are familiar, eagerly participate, and can minister to others.
- Develop a style of leadership that allows for new people to participate, new ideas to emerge, and new activities to be planned.
- Polish the "old" that still had value in a new age.
- Increase our effectiveness in sharing the love of God in Jesus.
