Children's Ministries

Christian Education Begins in the Home.

At Morningside Lutheran, we believe that we, as adults, need to teach children about God and His awesome love. We strive to make all our children's programs creative, fun-filled, and God-centered. On any given day you may experience clowns, music, puppets, drama, object lessons, creative snacks, science experiments, and more!

We also support several outreach ministries, including the Siouxland Food Bank's Back Pack Program, which gives single serving, nutritional food and drink to grade school children who would normally go without eating over the weekend when they are not in school.  The program now feeds 2000 Sioux City children.  We also support Pastor Enrique Estrada's five LCMC churches in Mexico, targeting the children and their ministry needs.
